ESPN Pogopalooza Cup 2022

In August, 2022, I went to South Carolina to compete in the Pogopalooza Cup Invitational. This competition was broadcasted live on ESPN as part of their OCHO show.

Getting to this competition was a total nightmare. I was supposed to arrive a day early to get settled and help set up but my flight was cancelled. Air Canada lost my bag so I was trying to get a new flight to Charlotte for the next morning, meanwhile trying to get my pogo bag back. I ended up sleeping in the Toronto airport and only got 2 hours of rest. Because I had no gear, I got the Uber driver to bring me to a Zumiez to buy pogo shoes on my way to the venue. I showed up at the field just 30 minutes before the broadcast went live. I used Drew’s pogo, no helmet, short shorts, a brand new pair of shoes, and I was super tired.
